What's in YOUR chocolate?

hundreds of foreign exchange students walked off their jobs at a plant packing Hershey’s chocolates to protest low pay and physically draining work
Last year, as part of our business unit we analyzed Hershey's labor practices.  If you didn't notice, or read the news, Hershey's was in the news last night because of labor practices.  Hundreds of J-1 visa foreign exchange students (college age) protested and walked off their jobs at a Hershey's packing plant.
"Hershey, Hershey, can't you see," the protesters sang, "what justice means to me?"
Hershey's retorts that students are being untruthful when they say that they were misled.  "Several kids said that they were misled," said Rick Anaya, CEO of CETUSA, "and that is not true. Every student had signed this job offer, and they knew exactly what they were getting into." Anaya added that he had offered the students another job upon hearing their complaints, but said only 10 students took the offer.
