Freedom to Slaves!

This morning, while taking a break from report cards I decided to research the Emancipation Proclamation.  I found a very cool primary document I thought you'd all enjoy.  (Click on the image to enlarge it!)

In your comments please answer the following:
  1. What is a primary document?
  2. What is R.H. Milroy's perspective on the Emancipation Proclamation?
  3. How do you know?  Please cite the text using direct quotations from the text.

  1. A primary document is a document that dates the time and has signutares from the past. R.H. Milory's prespective was that it was horrible.
Milory sounds angry in the "document".

  2. Eva, I wonder why you say that his perspective is horrible or that he sounds angry. Did you remember to cite from the text?
