National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC

Happy Sunday 😊

Sundays are usually days when I like to take the boys to a museum or the zoo or just out to do something fun.  This Sunday, we weren't able to do that - as I'm sure most of you couldn't do that either.  But, did you know that some museums offer "Virtual Tours?"

Today, I'm going to virtually take you on a field trip!

Let's go to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.  Sure, it's 28 hours away but not if we're taking a Virtual Tour!

This particular tour I'm hyperlinking is a fashion tour.  There's illustrations of over 18,000 watercolor paintings and drawings of dresses, shoes, hair pins, corsets, hats, umbrellas and even fans from the mid-nineteenth century.  If you've ever been interested in how people used to dress "in the old days," this is a great museum tour to take.

You'll see fashion for all people - including children and learn about how much fashion has changed.
